Progress of a World Bank-funded Climate Resilience Project under review

A meeting on the progress of the World Bank-funded Mekong Delta Climate Resilience and Integrated Transformation Project (MERIT – WB11), which costs more than VND17.75 trillion (approximately $741 million) was held in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on August 12 under the chair of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Hoang Hiep, the Vietnam News Agency’s Can Tho-based correspondent has reported.

The project is focusing on implementing both structural and non-structural solutions to address issues, and improve and develop key product chains, thus increasing income for local residents.
